First City MTB Festival is a wrap!

The first City Mountainbike Festival was held today in Waregem. A bunch of international riders came down to tackle the short and technical 309 meter course in Waregem. It was Dutch champion Jeroen van Eck who proved the stronger rider as he rode effortlessly away from his contenders. Sweden’s Ella Holmegard clinched the title in the Women’s competition, taking her first XCE victory of the season. Now onto the next one in Valkenswaard on August 12.
